Weekly meetings are held at the Swiss House in Csutakfalva for residents of the Csutakfalva quarter. These occasions include invited thematic lectures, craft workshops and pleasant, constructive discussions.
The group sessions started in 2014, in cooperation with the local public health nurse program (Noémi Ivácson, public health nurse) and the leader of the Caritas early intervention group (Noémi Kassay, special education teacher). They meet once a month on Wednesdays for one to one-and-a-half hours at the St. Anne Social House. Each session has a different focus. The organizers strive to create a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where expectant mothers can ask questions surrounded by concern or uncertainty. The discussions mainly relate to pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. A key objective of the sessions is to support mothers with breastfeeding.
Led by Laczkó Szentmiklósi Ildikó, the women of Remete meet every two weeks. Beyond the communal experience, the meetings include informative, edifying talks for women who want to relax and broaden their knowledge.
Organized by the Caritas Family Support Service, retirees from Remete meet every two weeks at the St. Anne Social House. Coordinated by Caritas staff member Róbert Péter, the Senior Club gathers for themed lectures and joint celebrations. They observe Seniors’ Day each year, and organize a Carnival ball for members at the community pool.
