Founded by Jesuit Father András Nagy, who is buried in the cemetery of the central church. There are currently 115 confraternities in the municipality. Each confraternity has 15 members and one leader. Four or five confraternities form a “crown”, also led by a single leader. The confraternities meet monthly at the beginning of the month to pray to the Holy Spirit, the Virgin Mary and Saint Dominic, the patron saint of the Rosary confraternities.
Held in small groups (about 10 groups). It begins on 2 February (Feast of the Presentation / Candlemas) and continues for nine evenings in different families, ending on 11 February (the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes).
Organised similarly in small groups: from 10–19 March different families host the novena in preparation for the feast. The prayers are based on the Litany of St. Joseph.
Established in the early 19th century as an Advent devotion preparing for Christmas. From 15–24 December the image or statue of the Holy Family is taken to different families for nine evenings. The Holy Family remains at each house for one day. The ceremony begins with the song “The Holy Family Seeks Shelter”, followed by an opening prayer, the Angelus (az "Úr Angyala"), and the Litany of the Holy Family. Advent and Christmas carols are sung.
Following the spirit of the patron saint of mothers, mothers and grandmothers gather monthly for a prayer hour.
Members of this prayer group meet weekly for communal prayer and fellowship.
