In July 2007, as part of the eighth Remetea Village Days, the Community House designed by architect Sándor Albert was officially opened, a facility that is probably unique among Sekler villages.
There is no resident of Remetea or visiting guest who does not come here for important events: contemporary art meetings, carnival balls, wedding celebrations, coming-of-age parties, annual activity reports or funeral wakes.
The Community House has a capacity of 350 people. Its kitchen regularly prepares meals for the municipality’s elderly, for day-school pupils and for any pre-registered group.
